Congrats, Mom and Dad; give yourselves a pat to the back! This project was executed well and easily within your decorating budget. What about the leftover cash? Properly, Little Brother would enjoy an outer space-themed rooms… . I got a telephone from some friends of mine a few days ago. Jake and Diane are a married couple with 3 small children, Sarah (16 yrs . old), Jordan (11 yrs . old) and Emily (7 yrs . old). They invited me over to examine their newly remodeled property. They had been focusing on this project for concerning 2 ½ years and finally finished the entire property. They are proud of the work they had accomplished and are now inviting friends and family over to show off their finished product.
So today was my choose drop by and see types of decorators they developed into and of course compliment them on the job well done. My partner and i arrived around 12 noon and rang the doorbell. Diane arrived at the door and invited me in.
Over left of the entrance way may be the living room. As soon as i walked in I was awe struck by the far wall. They had hung the whole wall mural called Treasury involving Splendor. This mural is an artist rendition of a narrow river with a white wooden bridge crossing from side to the many other. Meanwhile there is lush foliage on both sides in the river’s shore.
This colors are that associated with early fall with green, gold, yellow, orange and red leaves within a array that only character could create. The fall wild flowers will be in full bloom. There are tall trees inside background and in the foreground in the river are 2 white geese floating over the river water. Needless to speak about they had decorated everyone in the room in a fashion equal to the beauty of that will mural.
From truth be told there we met up with Jake in the family room. This room in your home is what they call their entertainment center. To the far wall was a large flat panel TV and below the tv was an oak cabinet chock filled with audio and video home theatre electronic components.
A good sized micro fiber sectional sofa in a curved pattern was positioned just far enough away from the TV (about the middle of the room), so the surround sound speakers with all 4 corners in the room could be seen with peak precision. With oak bookshelves and 2 oak tables with coordinating chairs and curtains in multi-colored earth tones, just the thing left to say has been…
Yes, this room boasts a beautiful wall mural. This mural can be an artist’s rendition of urban city with skyscrapers superimposed on each other. This time the designs are magnificent shades involving browns, golds, maroons, dark, yellow, gray and white-colored. This is modern downtown art tastefully done.
So today they ask me to follow them into the kitchen area. Here the cabinets are oak in a honey finish. All the counter tops are granite in a medium brown. The walls above your counters are mosaic mural tiles that picture homegrown fruit platters and wine bottles.
The dining room table and chairs are made of mahogany with a finish near to the same finish of this cabinets. There is a stainless island counter in the middle of the kitchen with a small sink and a cutting board inserted into the top next to this sink. Above the island can be a chandelier hanging pot roof-rack. This lighted pot rack also illuminates the island counter to shed light while preparing meals.
Did My partner and i mention the mural relating to the far wall of the kitchen? Now this is stunning and I will explain why. First, just and that means you know, the name of this colorful mural is Courtyard See. This is an artist’s rendition of an tropical sea shore view of a cobblestone courtyard with lush foliage. Absolutely amazing potted flowers 100 % beautiful deep colored shades of red, pink and deep tangerine line the courtyard ultimately causing a white linen tablecloth covered round table and seat.
Sitting in the midst of the table is a wine and a pitcher associated with fruit punch. In relating to the lavish potted flowers are lush green leaf plants lining the way in which down the courtyard. In the distant background is a palm tree shoreline with mountains rising straight from the sea. Wow, does this mural make a striking impression when you enter your kitchen. Need I say even more?
From the kitchen, Jake and Diane lead me returning to the stairway by entry entrance and we all head upstairs to Sarah’s rooms. This bedroom is just about all done up in colors of lavender and red. The bed is some sort of white wood framed canopy bed using a white lace canopy that’s lavender fringe around the whole outer edge. The curtains to the windows match the wide lace canopy. The dresser, night stands and hutch are generally finished in antique white.
Guess what is on the wall opposite the bed? Did I hear you say walls mural? You are right again. This time the wall mural is called Unicorn Garden. This truly can be a heavenly scene. I hope my description comes close to the awesome beauty of the following mural. I’ll do my best.
In the beginning, this scene takes place at night. There is a Unicorn and then a teenage girl with a flowing pink lace ensemble with her right hand to the unicorn’s snout and her left hand petting the unicorn to the lower neck. They are standing under a large oak tree and inside night sky above can be a bright white full harvesting moon shining down with them. The girl and also the unicorn are positioned for a small strip of land between two small wetlands. The moonlight transforms that scene into unbelievable heavy shades of blue, crimson and lavender.
On the far side in the pond behind them left is a waterfall flowing into the pond. In the far background in the right is a castle on the hill. Hanging from the tree branches they’re just standing under are artfully written lanterns shining brightly. Inside foreground is the edge of a pond reflecting both of them in the water.
On the edge of the pond to the right and left are wild flowers in magnificent shades of white-colored, yellow, gold, pink, lavender, crimson and blue. The ground they’re just standing on is a lush lawn within a beautiful shade of jade green. This full wall mural is a delightful addition to the atmosphere in the room. Nice Job!
Following, we head down that hallway to Jordan’s rooms. Jordan’s bedroom looks like the typical 11 year old boy’s bedroom. It gets the race car framed twin bed. The white walls possess a checkered flag wallpaper border going around the room about 1/3 of the way up the rooms.
The day stand and dresser are both finished in solid black. There are black wall mounted shelves above the headboard of the bed. These are holding Jordan’s trophies he won inside Pinewood Derby. On one wall can be a life-size wall graphic associated with Jordan’s favorite NFL Quarterback. These too, on the far wall across in the bed is, you guessed it, a wall mural.
Now this particular wall mural is a great artist’s rendition of NASCAR pounding. With smears of wonderfully brilliant pastel colors surrounding five race cars colored in radiant and pulsating hues of red, green, yellow and orange. You can feel your intense emotional excitement of actually being inside front row seat at a NASCAR race. The artist who painted this original truly brought out the heart pounding emotion associated with fans of NASCAR racing. This wall mural is what I love to call the perfect finishing touch to the current boy’s bedroom. Nice job!
Now we head slightly further down the hallway to Emily’s bedroom. Emily is actually Jake and Diane’s 7 year old daughter. As we enter bed I noticed a colour scheme of pastel yellow with green accents in just the perfect shade involving green to compliment the setting of the bedroom.
Here the bed can be a Hollywood style bed with the over stuffed comforter within a beautiful swirling pattern of pastel green, pink, blue and yellow. The bed is positioned in the room, sitting on a pedestal, with the head in the bed about 5 feet left of a window. The window treatments are shear curtains which has a valance in a lovely shade of emerald natural. Here the dresser and night stand are constructed of acrylic in a glistening shade of pastel green.
There is in addition a small bookshelf to the left side of the base, matching the dresser and night stand. On the far wall opposite the bed is usually what puts the icing in the cake, so to speak. You know I’m dealing with a wall mural perfect for a 7 year old girl.
The title about this mural is Daydreaming. This is a delightful and charming stage with two field mice lying on their backs in a lush green lawn. One mouse is on the left while the other mouse is over the right side of this colorful drawing. The adorable mouse relating to the lest is wearing some sort of pastel red shirt with light blue overalls.
The cute mouse to the right is wearing a lavender shirt with dark blue pin striped trousers. Both of these mice are surrounded by the field of colorful wild daisies in beautiful shades of pink and senior yellow. The entire background is a bright blue sky using billowing clouds. These clouds inside sky seen to get forming the shapes associated with birds, rabbits, butterflies and a castle.
The entire border of this drawing can be a sparsely leafed vine. The unique part of this particular wall mural is the option that you add a short caption over the clouds to be able to personalize this mural. So after a little thought Emily had which “Daydream a Little Aspiration for Me” printed along the sky in letters which were filled in like a rainbow. This room is a little girl’s dream.
Next Dave and Diane walked me over to the far side in the hallway, over to the master bedroom. As we entered the master bedroom I noticed that that walls were painted in the light brownish grey develop. They had a king-size soft-sided waterbed sitting for a six drawer pedestal. Your drawers, headboard and surrounding framework of the pedestal were finished in a brownish grey antique style with matching night stands on each side with the bed.
The dresser using a large mirror and a hutch also matched the finish. There is a medium size Italian style tapestry previously mentioned the headboard and two beautiful brushed pewter walls sconce candle holders on each side of the tapestry. On the far side in the room opposite the side in the room the waterbed is on, is a full wall mural.
This wall mural is utterly gorgeous. The name from this full wall mural is usually Tuscan Villa. This is the scenic view of the Italian countryside in the inside of an curved pillared outer terrace wall. This artist’s rendition shows three arches of this pillar arched wall. The center archway is the entrance to the terrace. Just beyond this entrance, on the outside the house, is a fountain inside courtyard.
The pillar archways over the left and on the right of the entrance have beautiful sculptured stone railings and also the terrace floor is constructed of random shaped cobblestone. There are beautiful green vines climbing in the pillars and the inside arched pillar walls of the terrace are in superb earth tones. Outside, simply beyond the courtyard are beautiful rolling hills.
Some of the hills are vineyards and some are golden hills reflecting the wonder of the bright sunshine in the mid day sun. Off in the distance is the majesty of purple mountains with blue skies above. This full wall mural can be an alluring art form which takes your breath away as soon as you enter this room. Wow, I am impressed.
From these Jake and Diane lead me returning to the stairway leading to your main floor. Between the family room and family room they open a door with a stairway leading to this finished basement. Next we explore the recreation room in the basement.
As We enter their finished attic I can’t help but notice that the walls are complete in stone and brick for the most part. Jake says that that brick and stone wall are actually faux paneling. My reply was how real the following actually looks. Along one wall can be a wet bar about 15 feet long with 10 stools in front.
The wall behind the bar is usually mirrored and a you will find there’s long cabinet below your mirrored wall with spirits bottles lining the wall working on the mirror. There is a pool table several toes over, two pinball machines and then a juke box.
Over inside far side of the room is a ping pong kitchen table. Over on the considerably wall, just past the ping pong table is a significant flat panel TV installed on the stone wall. This will have been the perfect recreation room just the way in which it is, but in the wall to the far side of the pool table is something that amplified the decorative atmosphere with the room. It was a full wall mural that made the room come to life.
Let me begin by saying that this wall mural made everyone in the room seem much larger as compared to it actually was. The title about this mural is Game Room in your home. A more fitting title would be rare to find. This scene takes set up a large building. The front outer wall is an arched glass wall that must be at least 35 to help 40 feet tall. Inside there are people playing pool. The pool table is in the heart of the room. The room decor is right out of the late 1950′s.
You will find there’s bar over to the right side with a tube TV inserted into what appears like a Rolls Royce grill and is turned on behind the bar on the counter. The front of the bar has the headlights and grill of an 1958 Edsel. The couches and bar chairs around the room are made of the tail fin open trunks of cars enjoy 1958 Cadillac and 1958 Mercury’s. There is a juke box over to the right side of everyone in the room.
There is a stairway heading up to your second floor with a classic fashioned gravity gas pump right out of an early 1950′s Mobilgas Station to the side of the stairway. There is so much detail within this full wall mural I could go on and on, but let me just say this mural was a perfect match for his finished basement recreation room.
